Current scheduling update

Limiting access to protect the quality of care.

While we complete the transition to an entirely new patient-care system, Premiere Foot & Ankle is temporarily accepting a limited number of new patients and triaging care for established patients. This temporary reduction protects the detailed, comprehensive care that defines this practice.

Established patients are currently prioritized for urgent surgical needs, postoperative and preoperative care, diagnostic imaging review, and active reconstructive surgical care. Other care may require a longer wait or referral to another office while we complete this transition.

The depth of care at Premiere Foot & Ankle is why many patients choose to wait—even when another clinic may be able to see them sooner. We expect to return to full capacity in January 2027.

Advanced reconstructive foot & ankle surgery

Complex problems deserve more than a routine answer.

Premiere Foot & Ankle is the independent practice Dr. Hudson and Jenn built together. Dr. Hudson provides advanced care for complex deformity, failed prior surgery, trauma, instability, and patients seeking a thoughtful second opinion.

Our difference

Not every foot and ankle problem is routine. Neither is this practice.

Many patients arrive after multiple prior opinions—sometimes two, three, four, or more. Dr. Hudson begins with the history and physical examination, considers how the entire foot and ankle function together, and builds a plan for the individual rather than forcing the patient into a standard treatment algorithm.

Being referred to a reconstructive surgeon does not mean surgery is inevitable. Whenever appropriate, conservative options are fully considered before surgical intervention. Surgery becomes an option only when nonoperative care is no longer effective or appropriate and the patient is ready. Dr. Hudson reviews the available choices, pros and cons, risks and benefits, recovery, and expected outcomes so each patient can make an informed decision with autonomy.

Meet the surgeon

Dr. Sarah Hudson, DPM, FACFAS

Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery

Dr. Hudson is a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon whose practice is centered on difficult diagnoses, complex deformity, trauma, failed prior surgery, and the biomechanical problems that can be missed when each symptom is considered in isolation.

A consistent drive for mastery has shaped her education: she was her high-school valedictorian and graduated with a 4.0 in both college and medical school. She graduated with distinction and first in her class from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, then completed her reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, where she served as chief resident.

Her work has included published research in scientific journals, lectures to surgeons nationwide, resident and operating-room education, surgical program advising, hospital leadership, and more than a decade caring for patients in Oregon. She has also been repeatedly selected by her peers as a Eugene Magazine Top Doctor. Those experiences inform the same standard she brings to each visit: listen first, understand the underlying biomechanics, and review the available options, pros and cons, risks and benefits. Surgery is recommended only when conservative treatment no longer meets the patient's needs and the expected benefit justifies the recovery and risk.

Our story

Built together—and built to be different.

Premiere Foot & Ankle is an independent practice co-owned by Dr. Hudson and Jenn Hudson. They built it around a shared belief: patients facing painful, complicated, or life-changing decisions deserve to be heard, to understand what is happening, and to have a genuine partner who will stand beside them throughout treatment and healing.

Dr. Hudson brings the clinical judgment and reconstructive expertise. Jenn brings a background in ombuds practice, mediation, and organizational leadership—work centered on helping people be heard and building systems that serve them better.

Jenn leads the office and the systems that support each patient's care. Patients often ask whether she is in the clinic—and whether she will be part of their surgical day. That question reflects the warmth, reassurance, and continuity she brings. She helps patients feel known, supported, and accompanied from the first difficult conversation through surgery and recovery.

Dr. Hudson and Jenn have chosen to remain independent even as medicine moves toward larger, more standardized systems. Independence allows Premiere to protect their shared standard: knowing their patients, resisting one-size-fits-all algorithmic care, and building every relationship on mutual respect. Jenn jokes that the practice should feel a little like Cheers—a place where people know your name and you become part of the Premiere family.

Independent by choice. Personal by design.Clinical expertise and human-centered leadership, working as one.

Focused expertise

Built for the cases that require deeper thinking.

The goal is not to do as many procedures as possible. It is to identify the hierarchy of deformity, understand which problems are driving pain and dysfunction, and select only the correction required to give each patient an outcome aligned with their goals.

01

Flatfoot & Deformity Reconstruction

Individualized correction of flatfoot, cavovarus, midfoot, and hindfoot deformity—planned around the full biomechanical problem and the patient’s goals.

02

Complex Revision & Failed Surgery

Careful evaluation of nonunion, malunion, failed reconstruction, persistent pain, instability, and problems that have not improved after prior treatment.

03

Ankle Instability & Tendon Injury

Treatment of chronic instability, ligament injury, peroneal and other tendon disorders, with alignment correction when the underlying biomechanics require it.

04

Trauma & Fracture Care

Surgical care for complex foot and ankle injuries, including fractures that disrupt alignment, joint surfaces, stability, or long-term function.

05

Arthroscopy & Joint Preservation

Arthroscopic evaluation and treatment, with a focus on preserving motion and addressing the source of pain whenever that is the right option.

06

Forefoot Reconstruction

Thoughtful correction of bunions, hammertoes, crossover toes, metatarsalgia, and complex forefoot imbalance with attention to the mechanics of the entire foot.
